This monograph looks at syntax and translation technique in the Peshitta of 1 Kings. The two most extensive chapters are on the various ways of expressing the genitive and on the object marker, but a number of different phenomena are discussed, including the word kl 'all', the conjunction 'and', verb tense equivalences between Hebrew and Syriac, asyndeton, speech formulae, reference to the address in introductions to speech, infinitives, prepositions, demonstratives, and the word commonly rendered 'behold'. I think it contains lots of exciting new discoveries!
